Ministry
in our Community and the World
Missions
Emmanuel Missions Committee meets on a monthly
basis to plan activities and discuss needs of Christian Missions
both local and overseas. Part
of each meeting is spent praying for the specific needs of each
mission.
Emmanuel Anglican Church financially supports four missions:
- Ruth Copland, a member of our congregation and full-time
worker with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada
- Don & Rachel
Sayers working with Emmanuel International in South Africa
- Down
to Earth Prison Ministries (Nick & Joy Hunter, former
members of Emmanuel)
We are also committed to supporting Bangui Evangelical School
of Theology (BEST), in the Central African Republic. BEST
is the only graduate level theological college in francophone
Africa. Dr. Peter Dunn a member of our congregation teaches
