Ministry
in our Community and the World
Missions
Emmanuel Missions Committee meets on a monthly basis to plan activities and discuss needs of Christian Missions both local and overseas. Part of each meeting is spent praying for the specific needs of each mission.
Emmanuel Anglican Church financially supports several mission organizations and workers:
- Ruth Copland, a member of our congregation and full-time worker with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada
- Don & Rachel Sayers working with Emmanuel International in South Africa
- Down to Earth Prison Ministries (Nick & Joy Hunter, former members of Emmanuel) based in Brentwood Bay, Vancouver Island BC
- Dancing Waters - Murray & Ann O'Coin based in the Tyendinaga Reserve near Desoronto, Ontario (associated with Sanctuary Ministries)
- South American Missionary Society
We maintain contact with the following Mission organizations:

Prayer
Emmanuel Church continues to be a church that believes in the
power of prayer. At our 10 a.m. Sunday services there is
a prayer team available to pray with anyone who desires prayer
for a specific need.
